Cumin Seed Oil is extracted from seeds using steam distillation. It is colorless, sometimes with a tinge of yellow which, with age, becomes deeper yellow. Cumin is an annual herb with the aromatic plant-seed as the fruit, generally known as cumin seed. It is oval, approximately 6 mm long and light-brown to yellow in color. It has a peculiar smell, strong and heavy. The dry seeds are an essential ingredient of curry powder.
